ADHD
9.4% of children ages 2–17—that’s approximately 6.1 million kids—have been diagnosed with ADHD.
7.4% of children ages 3–17 (about 4.5 million) have a diagnosed behavioral disorder.
Anxiety
7.1% of children ages 3–17 (approximately 4.4 million) have been diagnosed with anxiety.
The rate of children “ever having been diagnosed with anxiety” rose from 5.5% in 2007 to 6.4% by 2012, showing a growing need for early support.
